Epistemic Justice As A Professional Virtue?
I will set out some philosophical ideas (in particular, forms of epistemic injustice that I have called Testimonial Injustice and Hermeneutical Injustice), and map out some ways they may find application in contexts of psychiatric care. My aim will be to raise questions for collective discussion about what positive conceptions of individual and institutional professional virtue or best practice these ideas may suggest, particularly in strained professional contexts of limited resources.
